How can citizen observations, environmental data and predictive models become the starting point for new digital solutions?

Participants joined the OneAquaHealth IEEE Global Hackathon Learning Series for a hands‑on session that explored three public‑facing OneAquaHealth applications: the Citizen Science App, the Resilience Map and the Diptera Forecasting App.

They discovered how these existing tools could be expanded by combining new data, AI, analytics and visualisation – and how their ideas evolved into Hackathon concepts.
